🔬 Contract Research
Embedded research partnership
Receptorix scientists join your project — planning, executing, and co-authoring results with you as an extension of your own lab, not a black-box CRO.
What is an embedded research partnership?
Traditional CRO relationships are transactional. You hand off a protocol, they return data. The embedded research partnership is different. Receptorix scientists become functional members of your research team — participating in experimental planning, adapting in real time to results, and co-authoring publications and reports alongside your group.
This model is built for researchers who need extra lab skills, expertise, or execution bandwidth — but cannot or do not want to build permanent headcount. It is the highest-integration service Receptorix offers, and the most transformative for projects at a critical inflection point.

Engagement structure
1)
Scoping conversation
Our science lead meets with you to understand project stage, objectives, timelines, and team capacity. No fee for this session.
2)
Partnership proposal
A written proposal is issued within 5 business days — covering scientist assignment, experimental scope, milestones, authorship terms, and IP framework.
4)
Embedded execution
Scientists work with your team — attending your meetings, adapting to results, and escalating decisions transparently.
3)
Agreement and kickoff
Partnership agreement is executed. Kickoff meeting establishes first sprint.
Partnership scenarios
Lab capacity gap
A PI with a strong design and no or limited wet-lab personnel to execute it — Receptorix becomes the execution arm.
Specialist expertise access
iYour team lacks protein engineering or mammalian expression expertise for a specific project phase.
Accelerated publication timeline
A project with funding pressure needs to move faster than in-house capacity allows — with publication as the goal.
Investor-backed milestone delivery
A startup needs a proof-of-concept dataset for Series A — without hiring for the study and then offboarding.
